Parent

See some of the ways in which Moodle can be used by a parent by 'becoming' Nguyen Thanh Trung, a parent of Van An and Van Dat (both students at MightyLMS).

The Parent role, also known as the Mentor/Tutor role, is a specially customised role for allowing people to see grades and other information about students but without accessing the course as a whole. See the Parent role documentation for more details.

Because this site is open to guests to allow you to see everything, the Parent role here does not work exactly as it would in a real school LMS. You see more than you would normally be able to see.

1. Login as 'phuhuynh1', password 'Moodle@2024!' (direct link here!)
2. Return to this screen (automatic!), logged in as Nguyễn Thành Trung.
3. Browse the example(s) you would like to see:

• view your child's profile (and from there click the name of a course you want details of)
• Make data requests on behalf of your child.
• Agree to site policies on behalf of your child. (Access the Policies and agreements section of their profile and click the X next to a policy to agree.)
• View an overview of your child's course grades
• Read your child's grades in a course
